Salmon Pate

Very simple, inexpensive, wow dish!

This can be added to pasta, spread on sliced bread for a sandwich, or served as an appetizer with mini pitas or crackers.

I used canned salmon which I mashed until smooth. I sautéed onion, garlic, ginger, and green chili in canola oil. Then I added these ingredients with mayo, sour cream, and Gold’s Wasabi Sauce to the mashed salmon.

These spicy ingredients definitely add “wow” to the bland canned fish.

I add tomatoes when making a salmon salad for a refreshing taste and texture and use peas when making this dish to go with pasta.

Easy and good!
